The Power Of Consistency Day 1

I just started a timer for 10:00 minutes. I have ten minutes to write this blog. The purpose of this is purely for me to begin to get in the habit of writing so that I can begin doing the things I have been wanting to do, and improve of writing ability.

I have had so much on my mind:

  • Launching our online training programs
  • Taking marketing classes
  • Trying to build an app
  • Taking EXOS performance specialist certification
  • Personal Training
  • Learning how to run a website smoothly
  • How to make website go faster
  • Learn SEO
  • And much more

The hardest part

Maintaining balance. With Covid 19 hitting and us launching our online business it has taken some time to get into a rhythm. I really want to get in the habit of blogging and supporting others through there health and wellness journey.

But because I have had so much on my plate I haven’t done anything. So today I start with just working on myself and taking a small step. I will provide something of value as time goes on and maybe the first thing for you may be to do just that. Just start.

You don’t have to have the perfect online training program or commit to working out six days a week 60 minutes a day. Perhaps you start with 10 minutes a day, just like I am for this blog post.

You could start off with practicing these key exercises on a daily basis:

  1. Bodyweight Squat
  2. Plank
  3. Negative Push Up + Knee Push Up

My ten minutes is drawing near. If you wanted to start with just those three movements you could perform them everyday for 10 minutes:

  • 30 seconds of work
  • 30 seconds of rest

Cycle through those exercises and it will get you in the habit of moving every day. Once you can do those for ten minutes (once I can blog for ten minutes everyday) we can progress and work on other things.

My ten minutes is up. Day 1.
